Hello and thanks for your question. Here are my suggestions about the fillers in the nose.Typically fillers can be used for minor flaws but it has to be done in hands of an expert as complications can happen. if other methods can be used, then use those techniques. The nose is typically made larger but, the appearance can look smaller because of the illusions and the way the light hits an area and creates a shadow in the surrounding area.Rhinoplasty is another option which is more permanent and can create beautiful result.Consider consultation with an expert board certified plastic surgeon with great reputation.Best wishes,Dr Sajjadian
Dear RaeDan~Thank you for your question. In non-surgical rhinoplasty, fillers are placed in the nose to add volume rather than take it away, so it is not really possible to make the nose smaller or shorter, or to rotate (upturn) the tip. However, sometimes carefully placed fillers can create the illusion that some areas are smaller without actually making them smaller. This occurs because the extra volume can change the way the light hits the nose and the shadows that result. Photos would be helpful for a more specific recommendation. Best wishes,Amy Hsu
