Hi I was wondering what these on my forehead are and if they look set into my skin or if they are easily fixable with Tretinoin/microneedling/chemical peels?
Answer: Microneedling that has radio-frequency such as venus viva and morpheus8 can help even out fine lines on the forehead Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic scars and indented scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Forehead Lines / Wrinkles -- Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Jeuveau), Fillers (Belotero) + Lasers/Microneedling/PRP Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Botox and microneedling Hi @xprincess! I recommend Botox into the forehead region. Botox injections block certain chemical signals from nerves, mostly signals that cause muscles to contract. Botox temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. I also recommend microneedling for collagen formation and skin texture! I hope this was helpful.

Answer: Microneedling Acne Scars PRP Vampire Facial Cystic Acne Fine Lines Scars Collagen Botox Hi! Thank you for your question about forehead lines and possible treatment options. I would suggest a combination of microneedling and Botox to these areas. Microneedling will help address these fine lines and Botox will help smoothen them and prevent further ones. I would suggest 3 consecutive microneedling treatments 4-6 weeks apart. Make sure to space out the Botox and microneedling by about 4 weeks.

Answer: We would recommend botox! Hi there and thank you for your question! The wrinkling of your skin in the forehead area could be due to how your muscles pull in your forehead. If this is the case, treating the area with botox would relax your frontalis muscle and create a smoother appearance. Other procedures or products won't do much for the area if it is due to your muscle pull - we would have to evaluate the area in person to give you the best recommendation. Hope this helps!
