I’m considering a BA but nearly all the examples I’ve seen wrt other trans women involve high profile implants. I’m mostly satisfied with my projection, but would like my breasts to be more vertically and horizontally “present” on my chest—would also love to reduce the visual gap between my breasts and increase cleavage if possible. Would this be best achieved with a low profile implant? Physiologically speaking, are there reasons why trans women typically go with higher profile?
Answer: Best Breast Implant Profile For Me Dear SourMapes, Many factors go into choosing implant profile for breast augmentation. During the consultation we evaluate each patient's breast size (width, volume, spacial distance between breasts, symmetry, etc) chest wall dimensions and height and weight. We then discuss expectations and what the patient desires. We then come up with a plan that best meets all these factors. I think that many trans women ask for or receive HP implants because many do not have as much natural tissue to begin with and/or they are looking for larger breasts and the bigger the implant, the wider they become. Therefore a HP implant is needed to match the patients chest/breast dimensions. In your specific case, I would determine how large you would like to be and choose the implant that accomplishes your volume needs and your wish to narrow the space between your breasts. Best wishes, Dr. Gervais

CONTACT NOW Answer: Depends on goals and projection It all depends upon your aesthetic goals. If you wish to look reasonably "natural" without significant projection, then a low projection implant with appropriate width is a great option. The higher the projection, the less natural your result will be.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear SourMapes, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: MTF Breast augmentation Based on your desires and photographs, I would recommend a full profile implant (Allergan Natrelle). This would give you the most fullness horizontally and vertically and still look natural . Full and extra full implants are chosen because they give the most fullness when someonae does not have a lot of breast tissue to begin with. I hope this helps and I wish you the best, Dr. D.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Based on the pictures posted, it seems you have good amount of breast tissue. The choice of the implant would depend on your ideal goals and breast measurements. I am not sure what types of breast implants you have in your country.
