I would like to receive a aggressive halo treatment but would like to understand what to expect as far a pain. Thank you!
Answer: What to expect from a Halo Laser Treatment I feel the term "aggressive" is a bit overused in skincare today. "More" doesn't always mean "better" results and the pain-level truly varies depending on each patient's pain tolerance level. We properly numb our patients prior to the treatment to help keep them comfortable through the treatment. HALO treatments should not only be customized for each patient's main area of concern (pigment, redness, wrinkles) but more importantly, in consideration of the patient's skin type. This laser procedure is very versatile and pairs well with stacked modalities such as BBL - Broadband Light Therapy for enhanced results. I would suggest speaking with your provider to discuss your goals so that they may create the best plan for you.

Answer: Facial Rejuv -- PRP, Laser (Fraxel/Halo/Co2/moxi), emeragecosmetics COSMELAN ENLIGHTEN/ EMERAGESKIN AERIFY the higher the settings the more halo will hurt, and there will be more swelling. you NEED to pre and post treat (see link to best pretreatment regimen). at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (EmerageSkin roller with anteage AERIFY MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant or moxi regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8/pixel8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: "Aggressive" Halo Hi there and thank you for your interest in the Halo treatment! The Halo fractional laser is a great treatment to deal with sun damage and loose skin, such as fine lines and wrinkles. I would want to know more about what you mean by an “aggressive“ treatment. The Halo can be used to give you a deep facial peel, which results in more swelling, redness and peeling, but beautiful glowing skin afterwards. In these treatments, post-procedure heat is higher, but overall you will still heal up in about a week. Other settings on the laser can be chosen if you are trying to address fine lines and wrinkles. The settings are not likely to result in as much redness and peeling because the energy is targeted deeper in the skin. It’s best to speak with your experienced provider to make sure you get the results you’re looking for!Hope this helps!
