I use a solid skin care regimen, antioxidants, sun protection, retinoids & botox for dynamic wrinkles (crows feet). Now mid thirties and noticing crepyness/loss of collagen in the cheek/peri oral area. Completed 3 rounds of BBL last year but did not notice any visible improvement. I’m more interested in a procedure that can improve the collagen and health of the skin than one that will just cover up the signs of damage/aging (one of the reasons I have not tried fillers yet). Advice? Thank you!!
Answer: Facial Rejuv -- PRP, Laser (Fraxel/Halo/Co2/moxi), emeragecosmetics COSMELAN ENLIGHTEN/ EMERAGESKIN AERIFY see our IG post today for the tight and bright procedure. this should be done every 2-4 months with peels and skincare between. at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (EmerageSkin roller with anteage AERIFY MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging and should be done every 1-2 months (see link). For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant or moxi regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Improving Skin Health with "Low Downtime" Lasers Hi ew22, looking at your picture, I think you would be an excellent candidate for the Halo laser by Sciton. Halo is a hybrid ablative/nonablative erbium laser which creates microscopic columns of injury within the upper layers of your skin (the epidermis and dermis). This unique approach results in both collagen stimulation and an effect similar to a light resurfacing: it reduces crepiness, fine wrinkles, and visible pores. It also smooths minor texture irregularities. As you already have good insight into skin health, I would recommend you research Halo at the link I have attached. While no treatment can "stop the clock" on aging, Halo can give you biologically healthier skin and visible results after just one treatment.
