How long after getting Botox in my face, should I wait before having a Venus Freeze treatment?

Botox results take up to 1-2 weeks and last up to 3-4 months in new areas of treatment. Its best to do the Venus Freeze procedure first and then the botox. I recommend waiting 1-2 weeks after the placement of the botox to ensure the Venus Freeze does not interfere with the botox results.

I would recommend waiting one to two weeks. Most studies suggest that botulinum therapy is bound by a week. The product is kept frozen and refrigerated after reconstitution and is heat unstable. High heat may destabilize botulinum therapy rendering botox less effective.

Hello and thank you for your question. As a minimally invasive treatment option, Botox injections produce very mild side effects that generally subside within a matter of days. Common side effects include bruising, swelling, redness and tenderness in the injection sites. Once all side effects from your Botox injections have dissipated, you should be safe to undergo Venus Freeze treatments. Venus Freeze is a gentle procedure and is not known to interfere with the results of injectable treatments.
