Hello, There are two different hand pieces and three treatment levels for the Clear + Brilliant (low, medium, and high). The original hand piece is best for textural issues, and the permea hand piece is great for pigmentation issues. The Clear + Brilliant and Fraxel are both fractional lasers and do similar things BUT the C+B is much more mild, with virtually no downtime. One Fraxel is equivalent to approximately four C+B treatments, with about 5-7 days downtime which can include swelling, redness, darkening of pigmentation and peeling/flaking. You can expect more dramatic result with the Fraxel. The C+B is great for younger clients, rejuvenation, and melasma.
Thank you for your question! For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach including:1) skin care with products and microneedling/PRP2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors3) laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Viva, CO2, Erbium) a few times per year4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at restSee an expert. I always use the highest settings for the Clear + Brilliant laser but it is not as aggressive a laser as Fraxel. A cosmetic dermatologist can assess your skin and suggest which treatments would be best for you.
The Clear + Brilliant laser is a much lighter treatment then Fraxel. It is made by the same company as Fraxel and designed to be a maintenance/prevention type of laser treatment. Fraxel is more of a corrective laser. If you are looking for an aggressive treatment with dramatic results, Clear + Brilliant may not be right for you.
