please doctor could you help me ? I made a permanent tattoo on my eyebrow for two years ago . and now I want to plant a hair of the eyebrows.. what should i do ? Is it necessary to remove the tattoo first? Or Eyebrow hair transplant will be done directly without removing tattoos ?
Answer: EYEBROW TRANSPLANT - NJ / NY If a patient already has a tattoo, I believe it is beneficial because we already have a guide or template for placement of the new hair. I would not try to remove it first!Best of luck!

Answer: Eyebrow tattoo repair If you like the shape of your brows and the manner in which the micro pigmentation has been applied, then I would recommend leaving it as is and transplanting on top of your brow which would actually improve the appearance of your brow and give it additional density. If the shape of your brows currently you're not happy with, then the micro pigmentation would have to be removed prior to having your eyebrow transplantation.

Answer: Tattoos Assuming you want the hairs to be placed in the same pattern as the tattoo, it isn't an issue to have the tattoo there. But if you want the tattoo gone, it would probably be better to remove it before getting the transplant.

Answer: Eyebrow transplant after tattoo It is impossible to tell whether or not you should do something about your tattoo before having a eyebrow transplant. You need to make a consultation with an experienced hair transplant surgeon and they will tell you in which order you should proceed. For most of my patients, we leave the tattoo alone and put the grafts in the area in the shape and style that they desire. The grafts give the tattoo nice "texture." Good luck to you.
