I had a tooth pulled and implant placed last Friday. I had a stitch come out today. I called the office they said no blood or pain then it should be ok. Where the tooth was pulled is this white thing, it doesn't ooze or puss and no pain. Is that normal or need stitches?

Answer: Healing from dental implant Being a few days since your procedure, it is probably ok. but best to have your surgeon to evaluation to make sure. Not unusual to have fibrotic type of tissue at the incision which can appear white during the first 2 weeks

Answer: Healing After An Implant Hi There, you look good! In the mouth there is no possibility of a scab after surgery as it is always moist. The "scab" is a moist blood clot that can be different colors from off white to dark red. Your area looks normal and healthy. Have fun in your smile/tooth journey!
