Does this healing look normal? There is a white thing where the implant was placed, what is that? (Photo)

Question

I had a tooth pulled and implant placed last Friday. I had a stitch come out today. I called the office they said no blood or pain then it should be ok. Where the tooth was pulled is this white thing, it doesn't ooze or puss and no pain. Is that normal or need stitches?

This is actually a good sign. From the pictures, it looks normal healing. There is nothing to worry about.

Looks normal from photo.  Think of that as a "white" scab and should continue to heal.  The first 2 weeks are crutial so keep irritating things away from the area (sugar, soft drinks, tobacco etc) and keep it gently cleansed using your mouthwash etc.

Being a few days since your procedure, it is probably ok. but best to have your surgeon to evaluation to make sure.  Not unusual to have fibrotic type of tissue at the incision which can appear white during the first 2 weeks

Hi There, you look good! In the mouth there is no possibility of a scab after surgery as it is always moist.  The "scab" is a moist blood clot that can be different colors from off white to dark red.  Your area looks normal and healthy.   Have fun in your smile/tooth journey!
