How do I get rid of them brownish raised bumps? (Photo)

Question

What are these? And I have a few of these brownish raised bumps. I have tried popping one out but I couldn't get it to pop. What are these called? Is there anyway to get rid of them?

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Thank your for asking the question and sharing your photo. The skin lesions appear small and are difficult to evaluate in the image. There are numerous possibilities as far as identification of these, nearly all of them benign (nothing to worry about). Although, it would be most appropriate to visit a board certified dermatologist for diagnosis based on exam. In general, small lesions like these in the photo may easy be shaved off under local anesthesia with very little risk. If suspicious looking on examination, the dermatologist may need to send them off for evaluation by a pathologist to rule out a more serious issue. From a cosmetic standpoint, if the lesions are effecting a large area and are too numerous to deal with individually, a resurfacing procedure, such as CO2 laser resurfacing, may be appropriate.
