I recently have been having some pain in my tooth and my mom said it could be a chip and I am very terrified to do to the dentist is there anything I could do at home to stop the pain for good?

Answer: Time to take that step... It's best to see a dentist for a routine check up and cleaning biannually. If you have a chipped tooth and need the attention of the dentist, you should not wait as things only progress to get worse with time. Perhaps you can find a dentist by asking close family or friends and go in for a consult before doing any treatment to get yourself familiar with the dentist and slowly overcome your fear of seeing the dentist. Best of luck to you!!

Answer: Bonding is pain-free If Bonding is truly all you need there is nothing to worry about. It does not hurt and often times requires no anesthetic. There really isn't anything you can do at home. And if the chip is due to a cavity under the chip then you want to see a dentist now so that it can be fixed before the cavity progresses.
