Thank you for your question! Usually, isotretinoin and most of its by-products should be gone within 10 days after your last dose. However, I typically recommend that my patients wait at least one month after their last isotretinoin dose before trying to get pregnant. You are within the recommended one month window, however based on the dates you provided it sounds like you probably had very little if any of the isotretinoin still in your body when you would have conceived, especially since you were taking such a low dose. 10mg is a lower dosage and Accutane has a very short half-life. Meaning the majority of the medication is out of your system quickly. The FDA says females need to not get pregnant for at least 30 days after the last dose.
