Can I get breast reduction with insurance and pay for lipo on my own?

It is very common to perform liposuction at the same time as a breast reduction. Doing a breast reduction and the liposuction of the back and stomach is totally reasonable. Speaking with your plastic surgeon regarding this is definitely the next step.

It is best to evaluate each patient's suitability for combination surgery on an individualized basis. During this consultation process, after a complete history and physical, the SAFETY of combining these surgical procedures becomes of paramount importance. It is common to perform multiple procedures at the same time.  This is biologically and financially efficient.  Review the combination procedures with your surgeon: ti is important to avoid excessive OR time and to avoid procedures that interfere with each other.  As an example, tummy tucks and thigh lifts cannot be performed together since both operative fields drain to the same lymph node basins, thus leading to the potential for excessive swelling and delayed wound healing and recovery.

It is not uncommon to perform insurance-covered procedure and "cosmetic" surgery at the same time.
