Thanks for the question. The best answer I can give you is that it is dependent on the patient’s features, filler used and the amount of filler used. I typically use fillers in moderate amounts to get a desired result that doesn’t leave the patient appearing overfilled. Hope that helps!
Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and RF treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. I would recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for your question. Yes, fillers can make a huge difference in the cheeks and jawline. It is important to view photos in natural lighting to prevent "washout" from a flash. Sometimes it is not the straight on photo that shows the most improvement. The best photos would be from a front 45 degree angle. Please see a qualified injector to get the best results and not unnatural appearing.
Hello and thank you for your question. Fillers can change the shape of your face for sure. It does depend on the natural shape of your face, the amount and type of filler as well as the injector. Make sure you go to an expert, experienced injector. A full consultation with the provider should occur, expectations and reality should be discussed. Maybe go through photos of previous patients to see results. Whatever you do, make sure you feel very comfortable with your doctor and the plan that you and your doctor created. Good Luck to You!!!
I find that a combination of Botox/Dysport and fillers can lead to significant enhancement of facial shape in the appropriate patient. That being said, these are nonsurgical treatments and surgical results should not be expected.
Hi : Yes, shaping of the face including cheeks and chin/jawline can be created with well-placed fillers, such as Voluma, Radiesse, Restylane, Bellafill ,Sculptra or fat . Each has a slightly different indication, or purpose. Subtle or drastic changes can be achieved depending on what effect you want, and the amount / type of filler used. Surgical Implants will give a more dramatic and permanent effect.Best wishes, Edward H Bedrossian Jr. MD FACS
Hi thereYou are correct in saying that changes produced by facial fillers may be subtle. Often they are noticeable only to the patient as they look at themselves and their facial features more critically than others. Put frankly, if fillers make a drastic change, they are usually overdone! Sometimes people get used to their new volume and continually seek more to produce a change. This is a form of body dysmorphia. Generally speaking, if large volume changes are desired or required, surgery may be a better and cheaper option.Good luck.Dr Mark Hanikeri MBBS, FRACSPerth Specialist Plastic Surgeon
It all depends on what your goals are and how much filler is used. If a small amount is used then the results will be subtle. If youre using multiple syringes then you can achieve more dramatic results. It is best to discuss your goals with your physician / provider to figure out what works best for you.
Fillers can make significant changes to the neck and jawline, but it usually takes quite a bit of filler to do so. However there are limits to what can be done. I recommend making the changes gradually over a period of time. Radiesse or Sculptra are best for changes to the jawline.
Depending on the amount of fillers given and the place on your face yes it can change the shape of your faceYou want the minimum amount in the necessary areasGood luckFt Lauderdale
Hi karl1994,Fillers injected to the eyebrows, in the deep plane, may raise the eyebrows slightly, but this may or may not result in a masculine look. It will be best to see an expert about your concern for a more through facial assessment.
Hi there. Thank you for your question. You may need to wait a little longer than the two-week recommendation for all bruising to diminish completely. Give it a few more days. If you’re still not seeing an improvement, schedule a follow-up visit with your provider to discuss. Bruising isn’t per...
I like to start my patients on a good skin care regimen to obtain and maintain healthy appearing skin which is uniform in color. That in itself gives a more youthful appearance. In addition a thorough evaluation of the entire face from hairline to neck helps to determine how to...
Hello and thank you for your question. Hyluronidase is the only product injected to remove unwanted filler. It is an enzyme that absorbs the hyluronic acid. I haven't heard of using kenalog to remove it. I use kenalog to soften and flatten post surgical thick scars.

Thank you for your question: a few things that can be done to increase collagen production. As you know fillers (Sculptra, Radiesse, and Bellafill are collagen stimulators, which is an immediate gratification. I also suggest a series of laser, as well radio frequency treatments
