Facial mole removal & concern about scarring? (Photos)

Hello, I'll have two moles removed in a few months. They're on my face and I'm quite concerned about de scars it will leave behind. If I understood well... It is preferable not to remove true moles with laser... It is said that the scar will automatically be 3 times bigger than the original mole. I can't seem to find proper before and after pictures of scarring after a mole removal... Can a smaller mole on the nose still be removed with laser ?
