Yes, it is possible to do a revision on your upper eyelids to get a higher crease. It's best to be evaluated by an oculoplastic surgeon who does a lot of Asian eyelid surgery.
2 years is a good amount of time for the eyes to be revised. If the crease is too low, it can be raised. Vice versa, if the crease is too high, it can be lowered. I often seen patients who want revision surgery. The appropriate time must be considered and be sure that your plastic surgeon has significant expertise in Asian eyelid surgery.
Thank you for sharing your question. Asian eyelid surgery is particularly difficult to perform. If not done properly, results can be unpleasant. Yes, the creases can be reformed. Make sure an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon helps you. Good luck.
Yes, it's often easier to increase the crease height than to lower it. By removing some skin and anchoring the crease higher, a higher crease height can be achieved. You should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in Asian blepharoplasty. Goretti H. Taghva MD

Thanks for your question. You can have eyelid surgery revision after 2 years to raise your crease higher. Please make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon that has extensive experience with Asian eyelid surgery. Best of luck!
The eyelid crease can be raised or lowered ( to a limit). After 2 years it should not be a problem moving the crease. Look for a surgeon with large experience in Asian eyelid surgery. Good luck !
Thank you for your question. It is possible to revise an Asian eyelid fold. I recommend finding a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area who is also a member of the American Society of aesthetic plastic surgeons. I also recommend finding a physician who specializes in Asian cosmetic surgery. Best of luck with your procedure.
Hi. Greetings from the UK. Yes it is possible to do revisional double eyelid surgery. You're suggesting that you go for higher crease presumably because you'd like more upper lid show. The risk profile is slightly more averse but raising a skin crease and possibly removing more skin is usually possible. Obviously we'd suggest that you see preferably an oculoplastic surgeon who can demonstrate experience in this field. But yes raising a skin crease is a lot easier and more predictable than trying to lower a crease. I'd also suggest that formal incisional double eyelid surgery would work better than a second DST type technique. BW David
Hi. Greetings from the UK! What you're describing sounds very much like what we call in the business as reflex hyperlacrimation. Although epicanthoplasty surgery done badly can damage the tear duct drainage apparatus, it's pretty unlikely. Indeed even if you do have punctal or upper...
This could have occurred for a number of reasons - it could be the beginning of a keloid scar or it could be a reaction to the stitching used. You should return to your original surgeon for their opinion on this.
Hi. Thanks for your questions. Be patient. You are still in the early stage of healing. Everyone heals differently and takes time for the swelling to subside. I would advise you to continue to follow up with your surgeon to make sure healing goes smoothly. Best wishes!
