CO2 Fractional laser done on my cheek areas only two months ago, red and demarcation line is visible, advice? (photos)

I had a fractional CO2 Laser two months ago on my cheeks for acne scars, is it normal that until now my cheeks look red and demarcation line is very visible? My dermatologist said that my cheeks will just return to its normal color over time. If it's true, how long will it take to return to its normal color?
