I had Deka dot fractional CO2 five days ago is it normal to still have some under eye swelling? Just worried because about a year and three months ago a plastic surgeon injected some sort of filler in my tear troughs, I always thought it looked a little puffy/saggy after that. So now I am worried that this is going to exacerbate that? The swelling is getting better, but it has been five days. I also have a fever blister on my chin, treated with Acyclovir the day of treatment and onward, normal?

Yes, this can be typical and it can take several weeks for laser results to settle. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation and after care recommendations. I recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme to give improvement. Sun protection is essential. Lasers like Co2 work best in combination with other treatments in order to improve the skin's texture and collagen.
