Hello, I want to reduce the size of my cheeks including the perioral mounds. I do not want to go down the buccal fat removal route/fat injections because I’m afraid of potential sagging when I’m older. I do have a jawline however my cheeks hang over them, essentially making my face look rounder. What solutions to make my face more V-line shaped? Is it possible to do HIFU or RF (Morpheus8) treatments targeting facial fat reduction? Possibly adding chin filler as well? Thank you.

you would do great with facetite, buccal fat pad, threads to upper face, morpheus long term and fillers to contour (that is what this girl did see IG link)

most of my younger patients do buccal fat pad reduction, facetite/liposuction of the neck, and fillers to chin/cheeks/jawline/temples,  to give them a more chiseled face.  see my IG and links. at home derma-rolling should be started to Improve texture and tone and tightening along jawline (see link where we have a recommended daily skincare and weekly MTS + anteageMD derma-rolling protocol).

For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed.  Options include:

1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face
2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping.
3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender
4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined

most of my younger patients consider...
5. deep microneelding RF like morpheus every 2-3 months forever to further improvement tightening
6. early face/neck lift if you want a really tight contour and the most extreme improvement in jawline and neck shaping
7. threads, PDO or Instalift, after neck surgery/facetite to further improve the outcomes and give them long term collagen production and shaping
8. Thermage (radio frequency heating) and Ultherapy (ultrasound muscle tightening) yearly to prevent sagging in the future

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Hi,You can certainly have Morpheus8, HIFU or Ultherapy for face volume reduction. Either of the above does not remove fat but it has the ability to reduce the volume especially when there is excess fat. The collagen stimulation effect suppress the fat, elastin will be activated as well to help tighten, that promotes volume reduction. If you decide to do any of the above, plan on getting three sessions for max results. Eventually, when you reach your goal you can add some fillers or PDO threads for more define jawline. Thanks.
