I recommend following up with your surgeon about after care. Keep in mind, swelling is typical which may impact the nerves. It will gradually resolve over the next several weeks. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your picture.  From it, it is evident that you have some nerve weakness following the procedure.  Without a full examination (or having been involved in your procedure) its difficult to know exactly what the extent of the weakness is, etc. However, neuropraxia (or a weak nerve) can happen.  The good thing is that it will regain its strength.  I recommend discussing this with your doctor in order to figure out what to expect in regards to the recovery post surgery.  That being said, at 5 days, its still early on and you will see continued improvement.  Best of luck.
