Kybella? Jawline filler? Or both to restore definition after masseter Botox (Photos)

I've had disappointing results from masseter botox over the past two years. Initially, i got it for teeth grinding, not aesthetics, but it led to volume loss and jowls, impacting my confidence. I stopped in june 2023 hoping my jawline would return to normal as i was told but it hasn't fully recovered. i'm now considering kybella or jawline filler to restore definition. what would be the best option to bring back my jawline naturally and help me feel more like myself again?

When exploring treatment options, it’s important to understand what each one can offer. Kybella is a great non-surgical choice for reducing small to moderate amounts of submental fat (the area under the chin). Keep in mind that it typically requires multiple sessions to achieve the best results.

If your main goal is to enhance jawline definition rather than just reduce fullness under the chin, jawline filler might be a more suitable option—or, for even more sculpted results, the two treatments can be combined.

I think your jawline looks good and I think you only have a small amount of excess submental fat. You could try kybella, but in my experience it is hit or miss and kind of expensive, requires multiple treatments and can be painful. I my opinion Morpheus8 works better as it can decrease submental and jawline fat and fullness and can tighten skin. I suppose jawline filler is an option too, but I probably wouldn't recommend that for you unless you desire more fullness as opposed to just sharpening and contouring.
