Once you open a vial (carefully- those suckers can cut you) it should be used entirely during the treatment session and the remainder discarded.
Asclera is generally all used up at the time of the injections.
The shelf life of unused Asclera has not been tested for safety and effectiveness.
Expiration date of asclera once opened
This is a surprising question. Asckera comes in single use glass vials - they have to be broken to open and draw up the product. Each vial has 2 cc of product in it. My nurses pull all the contents into a syringe and throw the broken glass vial in our sharps container. It's unusual in my practice to use less than 2 cc on a patient. But if anything is left over in the syringe is thrown away. So the issue of how long it is 'good' is moot.
i hope this answer is helpful.
Best of luck
