What is the expiration date after asclera is opened?

Asclera once opened should be used then. The doctor must break the little glass vial to get the Asclera out and should use all of it the same day. Hope that helps. Good luck!

The vial is broken once opened so it's a single use dosage Asclera 0.5% and 1%. I do not recommend storing this after it's been open.  

I would suggest using the entire vial, where appropriate, of Asclera when performing sclerotherapy. There is no reason to store the opened vial. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

Once you open a vial (carefully- those suckers can cut you) it should be used entirely during the treatment session and the remainder discarded.

Asclera is a provided in single-use vials, meaning any medication that isn't used immediately must be discarded. 

Asclera comes in little 2mL glass vials that have to be snapped / broken open at the top. So they can't be saved for another day once you've opened them. My patients and I search for every last tiny vein to inject so that they can get the most out of each Asclera vial! :)

Asclera treatments are done one vial or more per patient depending on the number of telangiectasias or reticular veins to be treated. Vials are single use  only. Dr. LM. 

Asclera is a single use vial that is sold as 5 vials in per box. Each box has an expiration date. If you open any vial it  should be used immediately  and any remnants should be discarded after opening.

Asclera is provided as a single-use, preservative free ampule.  It's intended for immediate use, so once it is opened it should not be saved.

Asclera (polidocanol) is available as a 0.5% and 1% solution in 2 mL glass ampules that comes with an expiration date. Use recommendation is 0.1 to 0.3 mL per injection and no more than 10 mL per treatment session. Consider a visit to a vein specialist to help you decide best treatment plan for you.
