Can I take Accutane with hair vitamins?

I'm a 22 year old girl who's currently on Claravis 40mg daily. I'm having trouble with hair dryness and nothing seems to help the state of it. Can I take viviscal with my medication since there is no vitamin A included within it? Or is hair, skin and nails vitamin by nature's bounty okay to use with the amount of vitamin A in it?

Thanks for your question.  I would definitely clear it with your dermatologist first, but I think it will be fine to take prednisone for your allergic reaction.  We commonly give patients with very severe acne a prednisone taper while they are starting their accutane course so they...

Thanks for your question.  If your dermatologist is checking your lipids or cholesterol, the labs should be done fasting for about 12 hours with only water to drink to be accurate.  What you eat should not affect the liver function tests or pregnancy tests.  Check with your derm...

I do not know if European Health Plans cover Isotretinoin treatment.  Not everyone with acne needs Isotretinoin.  You should schedule an appointment with a Board Certified Dermatologist and have an in-person evaluation to determine your best treatment options
