All incisions on the skin will leave a scar.  In most cases the recipient site scars are not noticeable.

I see this commonly after beard transplants at novice clinics. Generally a skin lightening cream will help with the pigmentation but from experience correcting numerous similar patients your best bet is to either remove the hair through laser hair removal or extract them via FUE...
