Unfortunately, ibuprofen, aspirin and naproxen can all increase your risk for bleeding during surgery and for additional bruising and bleeding afterward. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is considered safe before any type of surgery. You might also want to make sure you are staying hydrated, eating right and getting plenty of sleep to avoid potential headache triggers.
