Brow lift for 29 y/o

Question

What type of brow lift would be best to fix my low eyebrows and improve symmetry (my R brow is lower)? Which brow lift lasts the longest? I don't want a second surgery so are there non surgical methods to maintain results?

In your case, where unilateral lift is considered, I would suggest using endoscopic brow lift technique and fixation with Endotine resorb-able plates. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon familiar with this technique is recommended. Good luck.

Brow asymmetry is relatively common. Your symmetry extends to the medial portion of the eyebrow.  A significant, but incomplete correction can be accomplished with a temporal brow lift with some skin excision within the hair bear skin if the brow. For a more complete and precise release I also use an access through the upper eyelid fold which does not leave a visible scar. I Woukd not advise other procedures which may give a more complete correction medically but involve more scarring and have other disadvantages.

You have a receding hairline. You would benefit from a brow lift using a frontal incision. This will lower the hairline, decrease the vertical height of the forehead and raise the eyebrows to create symmetry. This takes 2 hours to perform under general anesthesia and costs $7,000.

Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. The endoscopic-assisted brow lift comes relatively close to the expectations and points that you are raising.

Facial symmetry is never perfect, and no technique that you can contemplate would completely resolve symmetry. One aspect that contributes to the asymmetry is the fact that the eyes are not set at the same level on our face.

In your case, the right side appears slightly lower, with the orbit sitting differently on the face compared to the left. There is also a very mild upper eyelid ptosis on the right side, which contributes to the asymmetry and would require a different type of intervention to address it.

To increase the longevity of a brow lift procedure, the first recommendation I would make is to be consistent with sunscreen protection to your facial and neck skin. This maintains the elasticity of the skin by reducing the sun-related damage to the elastic collagen fibers.

In terms of interventions with non-surgical treatments, botulinum toxin to the crow's feet area and the frown muscles also assist with the longevity of the treatment.
