Is this sloshing sound in my silicone implants normal so soon post op?

I am 7 days post op. 495/525cc high profile silicone implants. As of yesterday I noticed my left breast making this awful "sloshing" noise. Every time I move my arm. I've read it's normal for a saline implant but not silicone gel so I'm concerned. The left breast is also larger and still having pain whereas my right I feel nothing at all. I'm not even aware it's there until I look at it or touch it. Should I be concerned?

some surgeons wash the pocket out with saline or an antibiotic solutions. Some of that fluid remains in the pocket and will be absorbed over a few days to weeks.

yes it is normal . it usually goes away in a couple of weeks ,  be patient............................

Hello,Thank you for your question. You could be noticing the sound/sensation of a small amount of fluid/air in the implant pocket. this is normal after surgery and the body will reabsorb it within the next week or so. If you have any concerns let your Plastic Surgeon know and they will advise you.All the best

The sloshing sound can be normal with saline or silicone if you have a little fluid around the implant. It is best to let your surgeon examine you. In all likelihood everything is fine but its best to get it checked out.

The sloshing noise is likely fluid.  This often resorbs over time. If it is getting larger then there would be concerned that it is a seroma and may need to beaspirated. Best to follow with your surgeon.

Thank you for your question.Yes it is normal to have a bit of a sloshing sound especially as you move about. There is usually fluid from the surgery which the body will reabsorb over the next few weeks.if you are at all concerned do go back and see your surgeon for advice and reassurance.

Thanks for your post. Yes, this is a common question we get in the immediate post-op phases from breast implant placement. This is rarely a problem, and it tends to go away on its own by 3 weeks. It has to do with the irrigation we use around the implants during the surgery. I'd recommend seeing your surgeon this week for follow up. Best wishes.
