Hello i have a round face with flat cheekbones what can i do to have cheekbones like Raquel welch i don't want a suttle cheekbone implant i want high prominent cheekbones with a chin implant but i want it to look natural is it possible for me to get the results i desire down below like i said i don't want suttle i want high and prominent what is best for me?

I combine sculptra and fillers to get the best results in the cheek.  Sometimes fat is great for long term solution. I avoid implants, I find they cause more problems long term.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for the question. For natural-appearing results, the best approaches are soft tissue fillers or cheek implants. The degree of fullness can be modified with either treatment -- with filler, you can do more or less; with implants, there is a range of sizes and shapes available. Best of luck!

I perform a great deal of cheek augmentation - using both Sculptra and Voluma.  I would stay away from implants as the shape of your face changes as you get older and you may be unhappy after surgery.  There are so many great options now but I suggest you consult with your board certified dermatologist with expertise with facial injections.  Best, Dr. Green

Patients who are a candidate for cheek implants usually have a flat maxilla and the flat cheek profile. There are many different styles and shapes of cheek implants that can be inserted. The implants are composed of Silastic, and are inserted through an intraoral approach and placed directly over the bony maxilla. Implants simply augment the existing bony structure, and are not  designed to give a very large definition. Hello Carissa 2828,As you know, there are two options for lifting your cheek.  The first and least invasive option are fillers.  Volume is an excellent option for lifting the cheeks.  The other option is the more permanent option using an implant placed surgically through your mouth into your cheek area.  In order to receive a complete evaluation and determine the best option I would recommend you consult with a facial plastic surgeon or a plastic surgeon.  This way he or she can go over the expectations, costs, and which option is a better one for you.I hope this helps and good luck.

Thank you for your question.  There are a couple of options for adding volume to the cheek area. One option is Voluma injections.  Voluma is the first FDA-approved injectable gel that instantly adds volume to the cheek area.  The results are instant and can last up to two years. This result my be a little more subtle than you are interested in - however, I've seen some wonderful results in the patients I have treated in my practice. Hi, based upon the attached photos the cheeks are very flat anteriorly and there is excess fatty tissue in front and below the cheeks.  This makes the face elongated and oval-shaped.  Female faces look the most attractive when they are heart-shaped.  Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round anteriorly.  Cheek augmentation, with cheek implants, is the most effective, reliable method of creating full round cheeks.  A cheek lift, that suspends fat up onto the cheeks IMHO is far less reliable or successful at creating the correct aesthetic cheek shape when compared to cheek implants.  Hope this helps.

You will need cheekinolants to significantly improve the contour of your cheeks Fillers and fat injections can increase volume but will not provide the desired definition. You can achieve significant improvement; however if you want to look like Raquel Welch the implants would be so big that they would not look natural.j
