What is the lump on my jawline and how could I treat it?

The past year I’ve noticed a lump on my jawline. I saw my Dr about 6 months ago, she said it’s likely uneven fat distribution. I’m 28, 5ft 7 and 120lbs and haven’t gained any weight. It feels like a squishy sack underneath, not large or hard etc. It’s really knocking my confidence, it’s not like it on the other side, the other side it just straight when I put my head to the side. An examination of you would be really helpful to try and determine what the lump might be on your jawline.  It is possible it could be a distinct mass, such as a lipoma or cyst, but it is also possible that it could just be a minor asymmetry of your face.

Thanks for your question and photos.  You should have this looked at by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and they will be able to offer you some advice on removal or treatment of the area.  They will see what it looks like at rest and also when you speak and move the head, which makes a difference in which removal or evaluation protocol they will recommend.
