I had lipo done on my stomach and there is some unevenness. I was going to try to tweak with Kybella but after doing some reading I'm wondering if Kenalog injections would help melt the fat faster? Can I ask my doctor to inject Kenalog into the fatty pockets? Could he control the outcome of how much fat would be reduced?

Answer: Treatment options for undesirable Liposuction outcomes Both of these are pretty poor options for treating undesirable Liposuction outcomes.Kybella It’s not FDA approved for this and is probably not going to deliver what you’re hoping for it.Anti-inflammatory steroids lower inflammation and have a side effect which is very rare called fat atrophy. They can also cause muscle atrophy and hypo pigmentation. The great majority of times Kenalog is injected fat atrophy does not occur. When it does occur it can cause devastating fat loss.Using steroids to purposely control fat thickness is most likely a waste of Kenalog. Should you be the of the few who gets true fat atrophy then you may very well end up regretting that it worked. Revision Liposuction is generally a better option. In a nutshell correcting uneven contours after poorly done Liposuction it’s very difficult and sometimes not possible.it’s generally best done with revision liposuction or multiple rounds of fat transfer.
