Dermabrasion will not remove hair follicles, it just shaves them at the skin surface along with dead skin cells to soften your skin and remove some surface blemishes. If you would like the hair removed then laser hair removal would be your best bet!Hope this helps and good luck!
Dermabrasion will work very well to soften your skin and remove some surface blemishes. It will not remove the hair follicles as we don't go deep enough to remove the follicles (this would result in scarring of the face). If you would like the hair removed then laser hair removal would be your best bet!Hope this helps and good luck!Dr. Robb
Thanks for your question. PCOS causes a relative imbalance between the amount of female and male hormones in your system. This causes the excess facial hair (and frequently these patients have acne issues too). Anyway, derma planing should be totally fine because it merely removes the outermost layers of your skin, kind of like an aggressive microdermabrasion treatment. You could also pursue laser hair removal and resurfacing lasers for the acne scarring. Good luck!
I would recommend a chemical peel for the discoloration. VI Peel could be a good option! VI Peel has different peels that targets different skin concerns. VI Peel Precision Plus helps by lightning and brightening any skin discoloration.
Thanks for your query. This is a normal side effect of dermaplaning and occur anytime even by the most experienced aesthetic physicians. Just moisturize your face well and over scabs you can use antibiotic ointment. This will help you heal the scabs and give you a glowing skin. Avoid any parlor...
You should avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours after a dermaplaning session. It is recommended to wear SPF after dermaplaning.
