I wanna know, how many plasma injections and how many vitamin injections will apply in one session? (Photo)

Bcoz recently I have done my first hair prp session but don't feel satisfied bcoz dr hide everything, and she used one plasma small injection and one vitamin injection only... I think she will take only 5 minutes for this thing and that's it. Could you please tell me is this a right way for hair prp treatment. I don't feel pain or sowiling. Advise, please Sana from Pakistan

In my opinion, it is the total volume of PRP and the concentration of platelets that is important  per session. I recommend four sessions at monthly intervals and then a reassessment for maintenance. I don't believe the vitamins add anything to the process when injected. Finally, I would add that there are many protocols for PRP treatment. When an FDA approved high quality methodology is used for PRP harvesting the results are predictable and excellent.  Unfortunately there are numerous "medi spas" opening across the nation that offer "PRP for hair restoration" that are buying low cost, low quality PRP "kits" in order to maximize their profit margins.  It is vitally important that patients inquire as to the brand of PRP being utilized by a provider and make certain that what being used is an FDA approved technology like Eclipse and an FDA approved centrifuge system.  There things are critically important to assuring good results from PRP treatment.  In my opinion what transpires on a patient visit for any PRP treatment should be entirely transparent.  The patient should be permitted to observe the method of collection, the centrifugation process, the layering of PRP in the tube and its separation as well as the injection process.  The usual treatment involves a total of approximately 30 separate aliquot injections across the scalp in areas of hair loss.  I employ topical anesthesia, a cryotherapy (cold wand), and the smallest possible needles to increase patient comfort; however, many patients still do feel the small needle sticks.  In general the process is tolerated quite well.  The average patient time in my office from start to finish is 45 minutes to 1 hour; however the injections themselves are performed in rapid succession in less than 5 minutes time. I would recommend  one PRP treatment per month for 4 months. It is typical for the injections themselves to take less than 5-10 minutes.

We offer packages of 5-7 sessions to see growth and add amnion (a growth-factor rich serum) as a boost.  I have not seen extreme results after just one session.  Have you undergone a workup to asses the cause of the hair loss (thyroid/endocrine, local factors/other)?
