My interdental papilla was removed during a gum and bone graft procedure prior to receiving new, less bulky crowns on my dental implant, canine and incisor on the opposite side. Nearly two years later, it is still not filling in as it was prior to my surgery. Is the new implant abutment and crown causing this? As you can see, I did not have an issue with my interdental papilla prior to the procedure. The procedure was done to plump the gum above my implant to allow less post show through.
