I was wondering if crash diets could trigger or cause early male pattern baldness (if genetically predisposed) If so are there any ways to avoid hair loss or early onset of mpb if crash diet cannot be avoided? I am following a calorie restricted diet (1000-1300 calories a day) in order to lose weight. i have been suffering from male pattern baldness for 2 year (nw2). I have maintained my hair and regrown a bit of my hairline on minoxidil.
