I had lost my parents both to a murder suicide 3 years ago. The stess caused hair loss and skin issues. I spoke with a doctor awhile back and they said to try the minoxidil that you can buy over the counter. I saw some restoration but shortly after it just stopped working. I dont see a significant amount of shedding anymore but my hair has not come back since then. I'd like to try a higher dosage but it must be prescribed. Is this something a doctor would consider?
