I generally don't recommend ice for breast patients as the implant is so far from the skin surface it does little good nor is it helpful after the point of maximum swelling, after the first 3 days.Discuss this with your surgeon and follow his directions!#iceaftersurgery#breastaugmentation#BA
Thank you very much for your question.Ice may help with some of the swelling that accompanies bruising in the first couple of days following surgery, but it won't help the bruising per se. Some patients (and doctors) swear by arnica and bromelain to help with perioperative bruising and swelling. I would check with your doctor on their particular recommendations, as many plastic surgeons have opinions on what works best in which situations. Best of luck!
Is your bruising due to the fact that you've had breast reduction surgery? I really need more information to answer. But yes, applying ice can help with bruising. As can arnica. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource when it comes to postoperative care questions. Some plastic surgeons have very strong opinions... You will need to provide more info about your situation in order to get a better answer to your question. I don't know anything about what you had done. Thanks.
More information is needed to respond to your question. Normally a bruised body part responds well to an icepack if it is bruised. If you have had surgery please see your surgeon.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Of course, you should make your OBGYN aware of the surgery you had. This should not affect the health of your fetus, but an awareness will allow him or her to monitor for irregularities. The only thing your breast reduction surgery will affect is your ability...
Yes it is possible but please consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon so a proper course of treatment can be decided. You would need to be examined and then you and your surgeon can discuss your options. I have attached a link which would help you find the perfect plastic surgeon...
The short answer is: Possible but unlikely as Insurance Rarely Covers Breast Reduction RevisionInsurance companies in general are only concerned about solving functional problems (e.g back or breast pain, inability to wear clothes or exercise, etc). They are not concerned about cosmetic...
