It's hard to predict how the face will fill out with weight gain. Temples can be improved with fillers (radiesse, voluma) or sculptra. Fat is an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Gaining weight will improve a sunken temple area, but maybe not as much as before. Other options to improve that area, in conjuntion with weight gain, are facial fillers, especially hyaluronic acid based fillers like Juvederm Voluma, that can last for about 18 to 24 months and requires minimal recovery time. Check with a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon who perform this procedure and has experience treating this area.
Dear rondoc, yes, weight gain should help your sunken temple but you can also consider dermal fillers. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. You will get the best recommendations after a thorough examination.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Ron,Unfortunately, our bodies store weight in different areas of the body preferentially. For most, weight is stored around the waist before the face. However, if enough weight is gained, you will see improvement in facial fullness. With that being said, the amount of fullness seen may not be enough to resolve sunken temples. Fillers and implants have been two methods of rejuvenation to the temples. Consulting with an experienced aesthetic surgeon is recommended to determine the right treatment plan for you.I wish you the best!Hardik Doshi, M.D.
Gaining weight will certainly help with facial volume loss. However, a filler will expedite the process. I recommend that you consider Sculptra Aesthetic which is a volumizing facial filler that works by stimulating your skin to produce more of its own collagen.

It would have been helpful to see a picture but it is always best to have an in person consultation. If you had HA fillers injected, the bumps can be either softened or eliminated with Hyaluronidase injections. Bumps can happen and their act cause is difficult to determine, it might...
Botox serves to relax the muscles that, by repeated motion, create fine lines and wrinkles. In your case, there are static lines (lines that are visible at rest). Dermal fillers would be a good option to help fill out the lines, especially a hyaluronic dermal filler such as Juvederm.
