Yes, this will settle. Normally it takes about a week but can take up to four weeks. Your surgeon was correct. For pain you might take some paracetamol. If you have access to a dermalux (visible red light) device this can reduce the pain and accelerate healing. Equally vitamin C, zinc and plenty of protein in your diet. Don't massage or touch the area, or make any big moves with your face or mouth (eg yawning, eating apples whole). Wash your face gently and have a quiet few days in. You might see a few bruises appear; this is normal. Be patient and relax.
Please dont panic! Puckering after Silhouette Soft is a very common side effect. The degree of puckering depends on the degree of your skin laxity and how much the sutures are tightened. In my experience this always settles by day 5 and normally within 72 hours. Although it looks unsightly it will settle. Im sure your surgeon has arranged to see you in two weeks for follow up, and if you have any concerns you can always see him earlier. From your photos however i think you will have an amazing result.
Thanks for your question and photos. It quite normal to have some puckering post silhouette soft threads, this might take up to 2 weeks to subside. Soreness also is very normal after the procedure, you can take paracetamol tablets and it should get better in couple of days. Please follow the after care instructions as advised by your surgeon. It is advisable to contact your surgeon if the pain is getting worse.
