Lips are very swollen, bumpy, tender, uneven & have white patches. I paid for one 0.5 mil syringe, not all of this was used as wanted a very subtle look. Going back tomorrow day 4 to be assessed & put the remaining in where needed. Should the filler be saved in the fridge, would this be ok to be injected no longer being sterile? Do I need to have any dissolved? Person who did my lips doesn't have dissolving agent. Would dissolving agent swell the lips badly & how long would it take to dissolve it?
Answer: Juvederm in the top lip and bottom. Thank you for your question. It is advisable to wait 2 weeks before any additional injections. The 2 weeks allows for swelling to resolve. If the lump to the left of your upper lip is filler you may require aggressive massage or a hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the lump.Best,

Answer: Naturally, the bottom lip is always fuller than the top lip and you should strive to obtain natural look and not get the fish l I would suggest you to wait for at least two weeks to see end results then you can discuss with your provider about your desired results and how much more Juvederm injections you need to attain your desired result. Naturally, the bottom lip is always fuller than the top lip and you should strive to obtain natural look and not get the fish lips. Good luck!

Answer: Anyone who injects Juvederm or other fillers SHOULD HAVE HYALURONIDASE, don't go to them if they don't There are rare emergencies when injecting filler which require using hyaluronidase. If there is a vascular occlusion, hyaluronidase needs to be available immediately. It is expensive and has a short shelf life so people that don't have it are trying to decrease their costs. I would never go to someone that didn't have hyaluronidase because no one wants to take care of someone else's complications. So, for your problem, it looks like alot of correction/swelling for less than 1/2cc. I'm not sure what was injected. I wouldn't inject anymore. Probably too early to decide if you want to remove it. Hyaluronidase doesn't swell much at all and usually improves the problem within hours. Watch the video on the easy way to get your lips done, with cannulas. Steve Weiner, MD, Facial Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: Uneven Juvederm and white patches I wouldn't recommend doing anything at only 4 days out, and I'm truly surprised anyone would. Juvederm, particularly in thin-skinned areas, has a tendency to swell and draw a lot of water to itself. This makes it hard at only 4 days to tell what is swelling, and what is filler, and so you can tend to overinject if you are adding more. I don't do any more filler for at least 7 days, and I would really be hesitant to see anyone who doesn't have hyaluronidase on-hand. Unfortunately the product is expensive, but any good injector knows you need to have options available.
