Indentation on my forehead, is Sculptra a solution?

I have this indentation on my forehead, it is more pronounced on the left side compared to the right side..almost looks like a triangle above my left eye, it’s also very deep. I hate it and really would like to have it improved. I’ve already tried Botox which was a disaster for me at least, because it spread to other adjacent areas and caused more issues than I had to begin with. A doctor has recommended Sculptra for this and I wanted to get some other opinions before I proceed. Thanks so much!

It is not advisable to do Sculptra on the forehead. The risk of nodule formation is very high. Instead use a reversible filler like HA.

I have treated quite a few forehead indentations over the years stemming from underlying bony abnormalities to skin or muscle atrophy, etc. and have found that when properly injected, these respond quite well to the use of a low viscosity, malleable cohesive HA filler. I stopped using Sculptra quite a few years ago, since it is not only expensive, but, unlike HA fillers, cannot be dissolved should there be an adverse reaction. You would be wise to make certain that you consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Injecting the forehead, which is rich in important blood vessels, should not be left to the hands of novice, inexperienced injectors accustomed only to treating mundane smile line problems with ordinary Juvederm or plain Restylane. Hi! Yes, Sculptra helps to fill in lines, wrinkles, indentations, even out surface area, ect. In addition it's also working to promote and stimulate new collagen production which helps to support the structure of the skin. This would be a great option to look into :)

The line follows a temporalis chewing muscle which can become prominent in people who grind their teeth or chew a lot of gum.Sculptra is absolutely contraindicated for forehead. I would advise to inject botox into the temporalis muscle first . If the dent still bothers you, then try carefully placed HA filler . This is a complicated injection so you ned to find an expert in this procedure. No Sculptra !
