Is It Okay to Do a Jessner Peel Before I Go on Vacation I Didn't Know if the Sun Exposure Would Damage my Face?

I have to wait 14 days for my next jessner peel, if i do it the lady day for my peel should be the day before i go on vacation and i wansnt sure if its okay that i do it tight before because I'm going to Florida.

Your skin may be sensitized to the sun after a Jessner peel. Make sure to apply sunscreen and use a skin lightener such as Melarase after your peels to avoid pigmentation. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Hello ldw,Thank you for posting your question. Avoidance of sun is extremely important following a chemical peel. We recommend avoiding heavy exposure for 2 weeks (ex. sunbathing, tanning beds). If you are outdoors you should be wearing a SPF of 50 along with a hat to protect.
