6th Day After Salon Jessner Peel? (photo)

MUST finish peeling in next 2 days (trip). HELP!!! I'm putting hot compresses on throughout the day and no moisturizer. What else can I do to get my face all peeled

Thank you for your question. Some skin, especially ethnic skin, can pigment if not pre-treated prior to a peel or any laser treatments.  I would stop doing any peels at this time and recommend Hydroquinone for the hyperpigmentation and using daily SPF 30 with zinc.  I would recommend...

I recommend that my patients wait until there is no "raw" skin or weepiness before they wear mineral make-up.  The skin can still be peeling but there shouldn't be "wet" areas.

The redness will likely resolve, but there is a slight risk of hyperpigmentation after the peel, so I would recommend a post chemical peel topical regimen. I use the Melarase program in my practice. Apply Melarase AM in the morning and Melarase PM in the evening to even out the color post peel...
