I’m a 30 y/o female, 5’3” 125lbs. I had a hernia repaired 5 months ago. My doc said my navel would look the same as it did pre op (it didn’t visibly bulge out, I had an innie) but it’s so shallow now / looks flat / you can see the bottom, especially noticeable when I lay down. I also feel a hard, small lump when I push in. Now I’m really self-conscious of my new shallow navel and wondering if I had an umbilicoplasty could achieve more depth with a fold in the middle like I had before my repair?

Based on these photos, correction of umbilicus fold is possible. However, correction of striae above BB may be more difficult task; treatment with some lasers have shown improvement. In person consultation with board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.
