I’m looking to get a crown on one of my anterior teeth due to substantial discoloration after a root canal treatment. I would love to have a porcelain crown such as E.max or Empress. However, I’m worried that the natural dark color of the tooth underneath a crown will distort the overall color of my crown after a placement. It has happened to one of my posterior teeth before. I’m worried that it would happen to my anterior tooth as well. Which crown is best for teeth with grayish discoloration?

Yes, you can have the crown repaired. I've done it countless times with long term results. The dentist may need to drill slightly into the metal, but that's not a problem.
