I have had 4 upper implants done, bone grafting and a sinus lift all for $9,000.00. This included removing 9 upper teeth. This was done at Gentle Dental in Arlington Ma. My insurance covered $2,000.00 worth because of the removal of teeth was surgery. This is waaaay cheaper than clear choice and I am very happy with the outcome.
It is sometimes very difficult to match a single front crown and you should seek the advice of one of the following: 1. a Dentist who is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry 2. there is a Dental lab named DaVinci Dental lab that has a list of doctors all over the world they work with and they do tremendous job of matching shade with the right dentist. What ever you do, ask the dentist if he has a lab tech come to the office, does he send patients to the lab or does he/she use photography to communicate shade. You will not match your teeth with just a shade guide alone, but it is possible to get a crown to blend with the rest of your teeth good luck
I am sorry to hear about your situation. From the pictures, the inflammation appears to be from the crown itself and possible cement. the x-ray shows that the crown is not seating all the way on the implant. Leaving it off for a couple of weeks, should not be a problem, but tissue healing may cause interference with the crown. I would try to get to your Dentist sooner and have a discussion about a crown that can be a long term solution. Best of luck Jay Pivor, DDS
Thank you for your question an picture: It seems that the asymmetry is a resulting a slight ptosis of the left eyelid. The eye brows seem to be symmetrical from your picture, but lateral views would be helpful. Given that botox relaxes muscles, it can cause a ptosis, but not correct one. I would recommend consulting with an occuloplastic surgeon about your eyelids. Thank you and best of luck
Well I am not sure that a crown would fall off in 2 months, but let's compare your options. If you would like to save the tooth, you would need a root canal and then a procedure known as crown lengthening. This is a surgical procedure to expose the margin of tooth that is at the level of bone. It would need to be done to get a good margin for a crown. The procedure does remove bone, so it will compromise the tooth next door. In addition to all that, you would then need something called a post and core and then a crown. The prognosis is not ideal. The other option is extracting the tooth and placing an implant. This is actually a simpler procedure for this tooth and it will not affect the tooth next door. The prognosis of this procedure is excellent and the costs are probably somewhat similar. In the final analysis, I would say from what is evident in the x-ray, the implant is the best procedure Good Luck
Lip enhancement using botox and fillers can help modify the current situation. Before that I would recommend consulting with a board cerified plastic surgeon or Oral Surgeon on what possibly could be done to correct the damage done by the surgery itself. The best recommendation would be the Oral Surgery or Plastics department of a major hospital in the area. Good luck
