Why do my 480cc UHP implants seem small? (photos)

BA was Feb. 6th & already feel like they're too small!Went with silicone smooth round 480 UHP.I was nervous this was going to be a little big due to making a previous post on here before surgery asking what others thought about 480 or 535 UHP on me would be like & every single doctor that replied said they would be way too big for me.So after freaking out about going too large I decided on the smaller size of the two,480cc.I know it's only a couple days post op but will they really "fluff" much?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photographs.  When implants are first placed, the accompanying implant volume and tissue swelling causes an appearance that is high, wide, and flat.  As your tissues heal further, and they stretch to accomodate your UHP implants you should see a more natural appearance.  Though they will not get “bigger” you should see changes in the cup size as measured in bras.  Hang in there and allow your results more time to mature.  Hope this helps.

I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.

Based on your preoperative photos that is very good result.  Hold off on judging size until about three months; I think you'll be very surprised as to what cup size you ended up with.  Always put in the implant that fits and at this time, I think you have that.  Let it heal and then consider your options to go bigger then.  Best Wishes!!

The implants are going to settle and soften with time and the appearance is going to change significantly. You are ONLY a few days frm surgery! Allow healing to occur and than after 3 months you can comment. To me you had limited space to have any larger implant placed. Best to discuss with your surgeon in an person visit...

It is way too early to panic about size. You actually chose pretty large implants for your frame! It does not look like your body would have been able to handle much larger anyway. Please sit tight and let the surgical swelling go down, allow your skin to stretch, and thenimplants to “settle”. The pec muscle is very swollen now and distorts the result. I always tell my patients that your breasts will look like “two weird headlights” for a while. Be patient.
