I had my 8 year old, intact, textured silicone submuscular implants removed 2 months ago. Most of the capsule was taken out en bloc, but there were a few tiny tiny parts of the capsule adhered between my ribs. My surgeon said it was too dangerous to remove these, so she cauterized the areas. My question is, what will now happen to that cauterized tissue? Will my body clear it away?
