Radio frequency (RF) devices can effectively tighten skin by stimulating collagen production and promoting tissue remodeling. These non-invasive treatments use RF energy to heat the deep layers of the skin, encouraging a natural tightening effect over time. While results can vary depending on individual factors such as skin type and the severity of laxity, many patients experience noticeable improvements. However, for more significant sagging, surgical options like facelifts may be necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @Thoughtful191265. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hello and thank you for your question! There are many treatments you can do but, if you want to target your jowls and tighten your skin, I recommend doing Facetite followed by three treatments of Morpheus. Facetite is a noninvasive procedure that boost collagen and elastin from underneath the skin. This treatment also takes stubborn fat in those areas out, which will give you the jawline you are looking for. Following the facetite procedure, three treatments of Morpheus will help give you that ultimate look; stimulating collagen and elastin using microneedles and radiofrequency. Combining these treatments will give you a radiant youthful appearance, furthering the results you are looking for. Hope you have a great day! Can't wait to see what you decide to do!
There is no better treatment than a lower face/necklift for your presentation, and not an unusual procedure to pursue in your 50's. The surgery will definitively treat muscle bands, sagging in the face, loose skin and wrinkles.Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon.Best of luck to you!
It is my personal opinion that none of the noninvasive technologies today will improve your face in any way shape or form. Depending on how much weight you have lost, you may require a facelift in combination with fat grafting for restoration of the facial volume. At the same time you could also have just fat grafting alone which will help you considerably in making you look 15 to 20 years younger with practically no recuperation. Fat grafting should also make your skin look considerably better. You need to have an in person consultation. I hope this helps and good luck from York city plastic surgery
