Are PDO Threads Safe For Me? (photo)

Question

10 years I foolishly had Silkon 1000 injected into my nose, cheeks, and chin.  It was over-injected, making one of my cheeks a little fuller than the other and also creating creases/lines, so my face appears to look a tad swollen in the cheek area. A doctor said I have asymmetry in my face and drooping. I want PDO threads. Would threading be dangerous since I have the Silkon injections? I want to push my cheeks back & lift the mid-area of my face. Please look at my pictures. Help and Thanks :)

Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. PDO thread lifting works best for patients who have loose sagging skin. Your skin seems youthful and firm. The underlying tissues seems to have fallen a bit. See an oculofacial surgeon for comprehensive evaluation and discussion of potential treatment options. Good luck!

You are right about PDO threads in the areas where there are already fillers, particularly silicone. But it is not contra-indicated when other choices are limited. In your case, Hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite filler may better choice to correct the asymmetry.
