Oily nose for rhinoplasty - is there any medication/oil absorbers that can be used while the splint is on?

I have an oily nose and the thought of having it in a splint for a week after surgery is uncomfortable. Is there any medication/oil absorption stuff that doctors can put on the nose post surgery and while the splint is ON? At what point can one wash their NOSE after surgery? In my case, should I expect pimples right after week 1 as my nose will be wrapped in splint for a week?

Prior to placing the splint on my rhinoplasty patients, I will place a skin protectant such as Cavilon on the skin along the bridge of the nose. This can help prevent irritation and reduce the risk of pimples forming underneath the splint. 
I leave the splint on for 1 week and take it off at the postop visit. After that, patients can gently start washing their nose.
